Here’s where you come in… To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking a Business Development Associate to join a team of sales professionals, responsible for growing the Fund’s membership via the attraction of new contributing businesses (employers). Reporting to the National Manager New Business, this B2B focused role represents an outstanding opportunity to deepen and broaden our default fund position across the small-medium business segment. In this role, you will identify, qualify and develop the Fund’s value proposition, building a pipeline of new SME business opportunities. You will apply our sales methodology and establish a defined action plan for all prospects, ensuring proposals are consistent with the Fund's product offering, and that any variations are fully authorised and costed. Your success will be measured through your performance against target on metrics such as number of new members acquired, new funds under management attracted, and CRM quality maintenance. You’ll need… We are looking for a delivery-focused sales professional with exceptional listening skills and highly developed emotional intelligence. You have the proven ability to devise, manage and implement sophisticated business development strategies and have experience operating in financial services, ideally in the superannuation industry. You are commercially savvy with a strong understanding of competitive practices, and enjoy working to clearly defined targets. You build strong stakeholder relationships that enable you to negotiate and influence effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
