Permanent full time role located at Parramatta – 5 min walk from the train station Work for a reputed government contract Work with a variety of Stakeholders The Role The purpose of this role is to provide strategic insight and administer the technical management of the client’s assets including the maintenance and lifecycle management plans. This also includes managing the Building Management team that provide critical asset monitoring and providing fault incident reviews. Key responsibilities includes (not limited to): Proactively manage and comply with the business’ HSEQ requirements including safety leadership and driving zero harm. Develop technical and strategic relationships with external (client, independent third parties, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants) and internal stakeholders (operations, procurement, operational excellence and finance) to yield satisfactory contract performance outcomes. Administrate the management of contract assets, in particular the technical and critical assets. The tasks include ownership of the contract asset management and maintenance plan review, optimize and formulate maintenance services specifications for all assets in line with statutory requirements, best practice and contract deliverables provide lifecycle management analysis and advice , provide support in field operation for technical and critical assets including preparation of technical report, summary and recommendation assisting in the commissioning of new facilities Routinely review reactive maintenance tasks to a ssist the reactive work requirements and subcontractor allocation, Align with planned maintenance tasks where possible, co ntinuously improve maintenance strategies in an effort to optimize, improve reliability, consolidate planned and reactive works and reduce costs. Provide insightful technical analysis and recommendations on client’s asset bases, contract deliverables, leveraged opportunities and projects as requested to enhance operational, commercial and strategic decision making. Provide engineering analysis on incidents, faults and operation of critical assets for high level strategic planning of maintenance services including resolution of BMS alarms and other faults reported within the technical facilities. This includes completing incident debrief reports and various in field assistance in association with Facility Manager and other operation staff, sub-contractors. This may involve remote assistance or travel. Lead and manage the Building Management System team including providing training and advice regarding technical requirements to ensure delivery of Monitoring and Reporting functionalities of BMS Operation. This may include shift coverage in extenuating circumstances. Other Requirements This position requires a Australian Federal Police check The role may require travel interstate form time to time The role may require shift operational coverage to meet operational requirements from time to time To be successful in this role you must have Engineering qualification e.g. degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering is essential. Experience in the operation and maintenance of building infrastructure including electrical installation, standby generator system, UPS System, Centralized Chiller and HVAC System and Building Management System in telecommunication facilities, computer data centres, hospital, A-grade High Rise Commercial Buildings and similar Industries is preferred. The ideal candidate must have high level of analytical skills, excellent problem solving skills and high level of computer skills.
