ICC Sydney is a $1.5 billion development that has transformed the Darling Harbour precinct. The project delivered 35,000sqm of internal exhibition space, the largest commercial kitchen in the southern hemisphere, Australia’s largest ballroom, an open air event deck, and an 8000 seat entertainment theatre. We are currently looking to recruit a world-class Learning and Development Advisor to develop & facilitate training, learning and development initiatives to Sydney’s largest and most innovative venue showcasing Sydney to the world. Responsibilities: Responsible for the development, roll-out & facilitation of ICC Sydney learning and development content and initiatives. Work closely with L&D Manager to achieve training targets while delivering learning and development programs to help ICC Sydney reach its operational goals. Conduct an organisational Learning Needs Analysis at least annually, to identify training needs and contribute to the Learning and Development Strategy and Activity Plan. Take the project lead on specific learning projects as and when required; Provide support of the ICC Sydney learning management system; Create and produce eLearning media; Develop and design custom eLearning courseware in line with the ICC Sydney eLearning Specifications; Develop and design instructional outlines for learning programs with consideration of key learning styles and adult learning theories; Scope and write learning briefs in collaboration with identified subject matter experts and curriculum development committee to ensure all learning projects achieve desired outcomes, are delivered on time and within budget; Manage and maintain positive stakeholder relationships with all subject matter experts. Test and evaluate eLearning courseware to ensure it meets the needs of the business; Maintain and review courseware on a regular basis to ensure content is accurate and up to date; Provide end user support to staff requiring assistance when necessary. Develop and design effective evaluation and assessment methods for learning programs; Identify and select relevant training resources to support the learning experience. The successful candidate will be highly organised and have a minimum of 5 years recent experience in a similar role. They will bring extensive training experience, ideally with an events or hospitality background. Experience in development of e-learning, RTO requirements and compliance desired.
