About The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join our business in a key growth area as Broadspectrum is intent on further growing its presence in the mining and minerals processing industries. This role will build on Broadspectrum’s existing mining presence and lead the winning of profitable new work (for new customers as well as growing existing contracts). Reporting into an Executive General Manager, you will mobilise our business and key partners to win and support contract opportunities. The role will focus on growth by: Engaging with key personnel (decision makers and key influencers) in mining and minerals processing operating companies (particular Tier 1 companies), building relationships of trust and credibility and gaining a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by these companies in the areas where Broadspectrum can provide services Playing the key role in the updating of Broadspectrum’s business strategy for the mining and minerals processing sector Playing the key role in developing the marketing and ‘brand positioning’ plan for the mining and minerals processing sector Unearthing growth opportunities and leading the pursuit of those opportunities Designing innovative and differentiated service offerings with compelling value propositions to win new work Leading (in collaboration with Broadspectrum’s Proposals Division) the pursuit process to secure profitable new contracts.
