About the role: Our new Childcare Centre opened early 2019 and due to growing numbers we are seeking passionate Educators to join our team. The Assistant Educator supports the Senior Educator to provide innovative early childhood education and care programs in a long day setting, working with children aged 0-6years. This position will assist the Senior Educator in the delivery of educational programs, ensuring they meet the needs of children attending the Centre, and comply with standards, policies and best industry practice in order to support a holistic approach to the care and development of children. The Assistant Educator is a member of the Childcare Centre team at Lilydale Lakeside Children’s Centre. This position is responsible for working professionally with the broader team of educators, employees, families and allied professionals. Your qualifications and experience: Minimum qualification, Cert III in Children Services/Early Childhood Care First Aid Certificate (Level 2) Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Safe Food Handling Certificate is preferred Proven ability to develop and implement educational programs for children Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team High level of awareness and responsiveness to people from a broad range of diverse backgrounds and emotional contexts. About the role:   We are looking for an Internal Communications Officer to produce content and coordinate a range of projects for the internal communications function to ensure the delivery of consistent information that enables the achievement of the BHI Strategic Plan. Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, your role will assist with driving employee engagement and promoting understanding of Box Hill Institute. The role is responsible for coordinating the tactical delivery of the internal communications strategy, with a strong focus on producing digital communications content to support the internal communications team and wider People and Culture functions.  Your skills and experience:   • A degree in an area of communications, public relations, media studies or a related field as well as relevant experience. • Knowledge or understanding of education sector will be highly regarded but not mandatory.   • Communications and Content Production:  Demonstrated extensive experience working in a communications role and/or developing digital communications content (including written, design and video content). Proven success in implementing and supporting social media campaigns and demonstrated application of communications best practice. • Verbal and Written Skills:  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail and an ability to research, write, edit and produce communication for a variety of communication channels.  • Relationship Management Skills:  Strong relationship management skills and the ability to interact, influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.  • Technical Skills:  Skills in developing both digital and print collateral. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint experience will be highly regarded) and Adobe Products such as Photoshop and InDesign. Experience using MailChimp and Survey Monkey platforms will also be highly regarded.  • Drive & Commitment:  Demonstrated capacity for sustained effort and achieving high standards of performance in a dynamic work environment. • Project Management:  Experience in project coordination and achieving set project objectives within timelines is highly regarded.
