Job Description

AustralianSuper is for all Australians and businesses; we put members first in everything we do with the goal of helping to create the best possible retirement outcome. More than 2.2 million members trust us to invest more than $155 billion on their behalf.

We are committed to the recruitment, development and support of a diverse workforce into an environment which is inclusive, embraces diversity in all its forms and is a place where you can be you. All roles can flex at AustralianSuper and we’re happy to discuss what this can look like for you.

Here’s where you come in…

The AIM (Analytics, Insights and Measurement) department’s purpose is to develop, disseminate and maintain insight about current and future customers (i.e. members, employers, advisers), and advise on making data driven decisions.

In this role, you will be responsible for generation, storage and dissemination of actionable insights to inform customer related initiatives and innovations at the Fund. The purpose of the role is to:

  • Lead tailored projects for stakeholders to ensure business decisions are informed with insights. This will require a deep understanding of Fund requirements to build out and deliver a program of work that is primarily ad-hoc in cadence and bespoke in nature.
  • Lead the input of insights into the internal “Ways of Working” process, sharing outcomes with key stakeholders and making recommendations to the relevant working groups involved at each key stage gate.
  • Be seen as a leader and advocate for the use of insights-led business decision making.
  • Work closely with the broader AIM team to inform insights projects.
  • Work closely with the Innovation Insights Manager to optimise external vendor selection and ongoing management to have the right partners and maximize effectiveness of external spend.

You’ll need…

In this role, you are required to bring professional experience within a customer focussed function and advanced knowledge of Market Research and associated techniques.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and executing robust research programs as well as an ability to manage senior stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

You’ll also bring an ability to identify priorities, manage competing demands and meet concurrent deadlines. Experience on both research supplier and research client side would be desirable.

We believe embracing diversity in thought and perspective helps introduce new and better ways of doing business, delivering better outcomes for our members. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

If you would like the opportunity to work in a challenging, growing and rapidly evolving environment to deliver outstanding results that benefit members, please apply now!

Agencies please note: this vacancy is being managed directly by AustralianSuper’s Recruitment team. We will contact our preferred agency partners should we require additional support. Thank you.
