The Role
As a Sales Development Consultant you are responsible for achieving New Business sales growth objectives by initiating and influencing sales plans with Partners to ensure achievement of sales growth objectives of all Consumer, Partner products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities

Training & Coaching

  • Identify partners’ staff learning needs, provide coaching support and work with partners’ staff to deliver best practice behaviours and maximise sales outcomes.
  • Drive sales growth to maximise potential across our partners’ distribution network with a clear focus on exceeding sales targets.

Sales & Growth

  • Regularly update account plan and sales objectives. Record all account planning activities within Salesforce and meet agreed timeframes. Actively manage and pursue agreed opportunities and single sales objectives.

Business Performance

  • Provide assistance in analysis of partners’ business performance and trends.

Representation & Support

  • Build and continuously develop collaborative relationships with relevant partner stakeholders based on IAG’s values. Participate and represent IAG in various industry and Partner activities from time to time.
  • Other projects as directed by the Partner Business Unit or Distribution Team from time to time.

 

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years Sales Relationship experience
  • Insurance and or Financial Institution experience preferred
  • Coaching or Facilitation experience
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Current Drivers Licence
