Here’s where you come in…

To support our office relocation project, we are seeking a Change Manager on a 12 month basis, who will be responsible for addressing the people side of change, driving business readiness, minimising disruption and resistance and facilitating a successful transition to the future state. Reporting to the Organisational Change Practice Manager this role represents an outstanding opportunity to help provide input into decisions on how to structure the change journey and implementation, ensuring employee engagement is a priority. 

  • Define and secure agreement to a change management strategy to drive business readiness and sustainable business change, applying the AustralianSuper change management framework and tailored to the needs of the project;
  • Develop the change management plan and deliver against this plan, flexing where necessary;
  • Support and enable sponsors and change leaders;
  • Work with people leaders to develop local change plans and role model the change. Provide coaching and support to assist people leaders to develop commitment to the change within their team;
  • As a member of a small shared services change practice, contribute to AustralianSuper’s change management toolkit and collaborate with fellow change practitioners.

You’ll need...

Significant experience in a Change Manager role, including leading enterprise-wide change. You have the ability to apply change management principles, methodologies, tools and techniques to deliver and embed organisational change in both agile and waterfall project contexts. You understand how people react to, and navigate, change.

You have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, human resources or similar
  • A recognised change management certification – PCI preferred (desirable)
  • The ability to work with and influence a variety of business stakeholders.
  • Sound facilitation skills with a talent for communicating simply and effectively at all organisational levels.
