The Role

The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is lead the ideation and design of a new generation of risk reporting and analytics for IAG, to provide better, faster, clearer information to drive risk decisions, and facilitate more informed oversight or risk

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify leading and emerging practices in risk reporting analytics and collaborate with the RIMS team, their customers and the program workstreams and to analyse their application to IAG.
  • Collaborate with the RIMS and other RTP program workstreams to understand their needs and wants to develop and detail the vision for risk reporting and analytics, and capture these as requirements in the backlog.
  • With the Technical Manager, drive the prioritisation of the backlog.
  • Collaborate with the members of the Reporting Squad within your workstream to design the reporting products and services.
  • Collaborate with the Workstream Lead and Technical Manager to maintain the roadmap for Reporting and Analytics products and services.
  • Collaborate with the RIMS team, their customers, and other RTP Workstreams to optimally re-engineer the reporting processes.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in complex multi workstream program environments
  • Experience working in agile delivery teams
  • Experience of insurance or financial services industries
  • Experience of risk management in insurance, financial services or other industries
  • Experience of risk reporting and analytics
  • Data, analytics and reporting domain knowledge
  • Knowledge of IAG data environment
  • Proven collaborative, agile and innovative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to research and analyse trends in reporting and analytics within both risk, financial services and other industries and apply pragmatism and commercial acumen to identify their suitable application in the IAG business and technical environment
  • Ability to influence to engage technical and business leaders and subject matter experts, and hold them to account in driving the right outcome for the business
  • Ability to make quick decisions within limited knowledge using sound business and technical judgement
  • Excellent coaching and facilitation skills
