Job Description

Broadspectrum has a long successful relationship with the Australian Defence Force. Our current long term contract is to deliver Estate Maintenance and Operations Services, Hospitality and Catering, Fire and Refuelling, Retail Stores and Petrol’s, Oils and Lubricants across the nation.

Our Rescue & Fire Fighting (RFF) services currently extend from stations in WA, SA, VIC, NSW and QLD. Due to the evolving nature of this contract, we are currently employing a Firefighter in our Urban / Aviation Fire and Rescue operations at Edinburgh.


The Role:

The successful Firefighter will respond to incidents as required and perform duties as directed by the Station Officer, Sub-Station Officer and Leading Firefighter.

All positions will require the successful applicants to work an average 38 hour week on an early / late roster cycle, Monday to Thursday between the hours of 0700 – 2330hrs and Friday between the hours of 0700 – 1700hrs. excluding public holidays

You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance to apply.


Skills and Experience:

You must supply evidence of the following qualifications with your application: (Only complete applications will be assessed). The following minimum qualifications are required:

PUA20613 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)

PUA30613 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)


Note: Broadspectrum require specific units from within the Certificate levels and incorporate the following units of competency (inclusive of Public Safety aviation units).
