The Role


We’re looking for a talented Digital Content Copywriter, focusing on UX writing and microcopy. We need a writer who can translate technical insurance information into simple, customer-friendly language.
You’ll be a key communicator for some of the country’s most trusted brands, and you’ll create clear, concise and useful content for customers.
You’ll work on a variety of content–from product info and quote questions to microcopy and error messages–across several digital channels. You’ll help shape our tone and be the voice for our customers.

Please note this is a 3 - 6 Month Fixed Term Opporutnity with the view to extend based in our Sydney CBD office. 


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Act as the voice of the customer and write concise, plain English copy to help meet customer needs and achieve business goals
  • Create new content and edit existing content, then take it through the approval process to ensure it’s correct, compliant and ready to be published
  • Manage stakeholder feedback and requests while maintaining customer-friendly copy that meets style and accessibility guidelines
  • Maintain and apply style guides for a range of brands and channels
  • Continually monitor and evaluate content’s effectiveness, and use analytics and testing as a bedrock to improve it
  • Work with stakeholders (like UX, Product and Legal) to identify opportunities to improve content and customer experience
  • Act as an advocate for best practice, accessible content throughout the organisation.


Skills & Experience

 

  • Superior ability to write and edit clear, succinct, accessible content
  • Previous experience as a UX writer or digital copywriter working on forms, application questions, microcopy, error messages and validations
  • Strong understanding of digital user experience accessibility principles
  • 1-3 years’ experience writing and planning digital content (mainly web and apps)
  • Strong data focus and experience with data-driven decision making.
