The Role
Broadspectrum is currently seeking a qualified and experienced DFI Supervisor to oversee the scheduling and coordination of works for all DFI maintenance under the Defence Services Contract. The position will see you based at Bandiana in an ongoing full time position within our Base Services Contract.  

Responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for supervising a small team
  • Exercises discretion within scope of their role at this level
  • Implements quality procedures within their team
  • Applies a degree of judgment, initiative and flexibility to resolve day to day difficulties within their area of responsibility
  • Interprets and applies standard policies, procedures and regulations
  • Prepares and reconciles regular reports of stock movements and dispatches
  • Liaises with management, suppliers and customers with respect to POL operations
  • Details and co-ordinates activities of team members
  • Assists with telephone, email enquiries and customer service requirements

Skills and qualifications:

  • Highly developed level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management System SAP and HVS.
  • Excellent computer, word processing and technical knowledge in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Results focused with the ability to identify problems and issues and generate solutions.
  • Excellent customer service focus and the ability to interact effectively with a broad range of stakeholders within Defence and the company.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability manage multiple and often conflicting priorities.
