Broadspectrum and Suez, have teamed together as Allwater - an internationally experienced team that combines operating and technical excellence on a global scale within the Water and Wastewater Industry. Together with our Alliance partner SA Water, Allwater is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater networks and associated assets throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area.

Allwater are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the team at the Glenelg Wastewater Treatment Plant. To be successful for this role you will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and hold qualifications in a technical or trade discipline. You will also have a good level of computer literacy. Previous exposure in a field based maintenance role along with knowledge of water & wastewater plant systems will be highly regarded.
 The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Undertaking programmed and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of water industry assets
  • Maintaining critical assets including chemical dosing systems, compressors, pump stations
  • Liaise with operational staff as required to ensure plant operational performance is maintained and critical process issue are diagnosed and resolved 

Please note you must hold a full drivers licence and be available to work an on-call roster for nominated areas. You may be required to work flexible hours to meet demands where necessary. And also will be required to work and travel to multiple sites and locations (including remote wastewater pumping station sites) where necessary.
