Broadspectrum and Suez, have teamed together as Allwater - an internationally experienced team that combines operating and technical excellence on a global scale within the Water and Wastewater Industry. Together with our Alliance partner SA Water, Allwater is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater networks and associated assets throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area.

Allwater are seeking an experienced Electrician to join the Wastewater North Electrical Team. 

To be successful for this role, you will demonstrate proven industrial electrical and instrumentation experience and hold a current ‘A’ Class Electrical Worker’s Licence. You will have a commitment to fostering a successful interface with operations to ensure all tasks are carried out efficiently and safely without compromising operational integrity. You will also have a good level of computer literacy. Previous exposure in a field based maintenance role,   along with knowledge of water & wastewater plant systems, will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of wastewater industry assets; 
  • Maintaining critical electrical and control assets including switchboards, instruments and PLC based control systems for treatment plants, pump stations and associated equipment;
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical, instrumentation and control issues;
  • Liaise with operational staff as required to ensure plant operational performance is maintained and critical process issues are diagnosed and resolved. 

Please note you must hold a full drivers licence and be available to work an on-call roster for nominated areas. You may be required to work flexible hours to meet demands where necessary. You may also be required to work and travel to multiple sites and locations (including remote wastewater pumping station sites) where necessary.
