The company.

Skout Solutions is Broadspectrum’s internal recruitment function. We are half owned by Bropadspectrum and half owned by Randstad. So we are in a unique position – an internal function who are very much part of the Broadspectrum team and work alongside our hiring managers on a day to day basis, but who also have the tools and capability of a large global recruitment company at our disposal.

The People:

You will be joining a small, high-performing local WA team who recruit somewhere in the region of 500 people every year. We have built in-depth knowledge of the Broadspectrum’s business and have developed strong relationships with our hiring managers through hard work, openness and regular communication. You will also be part of a greater ANZ Skout Solutions team and the HR team, both of which are full of experienced, decent, supportive people who will be more than willing to help you become successful in your role.

The Job:

We recruit a wide variety of office and site-based skillsets across Power, Telecommunications, Construction, Infrastructure maintenance and Facilities Management from entry level roles to Senior Leadership roles. You will never be bored. If you need to work from home at times, or work flexible hours we can accommodate you. Success in this role is measured by the compliance to audits, ensuring candidates are paid accurately and on time, supporting the recruiters to ensure roles are filled and candidate management.

You may be a high performing agency resourcer whose motivation has dropped due to repetitiveness, lack of variety or sales culture – maybe you want to apply your skills in a different environment, and feel part of something bigger? You may be an experienced internal recruitment admin who is excited by the idea of the Broadspectrum/Randstad JV and wants to help us grow the team and explore the different opportunities it presents? You will definitely be someone who takes genuine pride in their role , finds fun and enjoyment in their work and has a reputation for delivering a great service.  You recognise the need to evolve with business changes and approach them with optimism and enthusiasm.

Requirements:

  • Fast paced recruitment experience from the Infrastructure, Maintenance or Construction Sectors
  • Excellent admin and time management skills
  • A strong understanding of candidate attraction platforms including Job boards and social media.
  • Previous experience conducting reference checks, managing payroll deadlines
  • Experience in the use of a recruitment management system

You must have Australian Work Rights and  be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test in order to be eligible for these positions.
