The Role

Due to continued growth, Trace JV are currently looking to engage an experienced and qualified Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer. This full time, ongoing opportunity will see you based in Darwin on-site within the operations team working Monday - Friday. The role will see you manage the day to day purchasing and supply of all site based requirements ranging from PPE through to complex technical LNG parts and components. You will also be heavily involved in subcontractor engagement & management as well as weekly and monthly reporting.       

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role will be but not limited to:

  • Relationship Management – Develop and maintain strong network and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Support – Provide support for all Supply Chain activities.
  • New Supplier Request/Amendment administration – Liaise, acquire and verify supplier provided information for new supplier requests and amendments utilising external websites including ABR and ASIC before submission to the Master Data team for entry into SAP.
  • Requisition entry – Organise information into procurement databases. Data entry of orders and service orders and processing variations into SAP.
  • Invoice management – Review of logged invoices against goods received. Dispute errors and manage resolution through variation and credit request process.
  • Subcontractor Support – Provide support in evaluating and recommending subcontractors and the ongoing management of approved subcontractors.
  • Contract documentation administration – Collect, control and maintain a database of documentation for all subcontractor activities.
  • Reporting – Collect, prepare and interpret procurement data for review by Supply Chain Manager.
  • Day to day procurement of goods & services.

Technical Competencies & Skills

  • Advanced user of SAP not essential but highly regarded
  • Experience in a similar site based role
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks
  • Advanced user of Excel
  • Exposure to ARIBA procurement system highly regarded  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently
