The Role


Reporting to the Procurement Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for organising the procurement activities for the Corporate Services portfolio that deliver sustainable value/ benefits to the business. In consultation with key stakeholders, identify and support their business strategy and goals through the delivery of commercially beneficial sourcing.


Key responsibilities includes (not limited to):


  • As part of the Corporate Services portfolio, with the addressable spend up to $300k, focus on managing the Travel and Labour categories. You will also have the opportunity to work on the IT, Finance, Legal, Training and Utilities categories.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies that are endorsed by the business and approved at the appropriate level.
  • Deliver against the category strategy targets.
  • Be an advocate for P2P and ensure that all procurement outcomes have a defined and compliant sourcing channel.
  • Manage and support the full range of sourcing processes from identification of requirements through to contract review, execution and post contract award management, and utilise Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain systems and processes effectively.
  • Drive value from the company's expenditure through collaboratively working with stakeholders and using evidenced based decision making across Corporate Goods and Services.
  • Assist in full tender / bid management where required, commercial and contractual aspects, and ensure programs deliver against business objectives within required period and budget is achieved.
  • Actively contribute to the Group Procurement culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.


To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in Business/Commerce related discipline with a knowledge of Category Management, Contract Management and SRM. You will have a solid understanding of transactional procurement, systems and processes. You will have excellent communication and problem solving skills and be able to influence stakeholders. Experience using SAP/ERP & Ariba is preferred along with strong Excel skills.
