Casual - $38.24 per hour + Super

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our immunisation team.  The role of immunisation support officer will allow you to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of our immunisation program.

It is vital that you would be available on the dates that our immunisation program operates.  There are 8 regular sessions each month that you will be required to attend and some extra sessions for high schools and flu sessions as required.  The hours average 30 per month.  You will be responsible for operating the computer at the sessions and putting in customer and vaccine information.

Our programs operate from multiple facilities in the City of Yarra, you can meet the team at Richmond Town Hall to be transported to each session.

The successful candidate will:

  • To provide quality front-line customer service to residents and customers at Council’s immunisation sessions
  • To provide administrative support and data entry for every immunisation session ran by Yarra City Council
  • Assist with setting up equipment, stock management and information management as a member of the immunisation service team.
  • Assist with adding, updating and maintaining data in the State Government immunisation system (IMPS)
  • Contribute to the effective and efficient operation of Council’s Immunisation Program
  • To regularly update and maintain all procedure documents relating to this position
