The Role

Due to continued growth, Trace are currently looking to engage an experienced Oil & Gas Repairs Maintenance Co-ordinator. This full time position is not FIFO and will see you based locally in Darwin working Monday to Friday.

This position provides Coordination and management of repairable items/stock required to operate offshore assets, whilst also coordinating maintenance activities to preserve warehoused spares. To be successful in this role you will have worked in a similar role and have extensive SAP experience.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating major maintenance activities
  • Co-ordinate logistics of equipment, spares and personnel
  • Confirm, develop and compile work packs with detailed method statements incorporating inspection and test plans.
  • Secure resources required to successfully complete scope and mobilize vendors for execution
  • Materials management experience (SAP MM) required.
  • Maintenance background advantageous
  • Report running, analysis and follow up on Repair Items issued and Return to Stock status to restore stock levels.
  • Work in with Buyers and vendors on vendors repair management.
  • Liaising with the Warehouse team on maintenance schedules, access, permitry for preservation maintenance tasks to be undertaken.
  • Engaging vendors for preservation maintenance execution.
  • Support Perth team in verification of materials staged and ready for dispatch to facilities.


  • Excellent knowledge of the relevant trade and/or discipline areas - ability to provide guidance, expertise to others
  • Ability to organise and coordinate resources in an operational environment
  • Knowledge of plant process – safety, integrity and maintenance processes
  • Advance user of SAP, MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks
  • Experienced with SAP MM system
  • Demonstrated safety leadership
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate large volumes of work concurrently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enable effective communication with key stakeholders.
  • Whilst not essential, LNG maintenance operations experience will be highly regarded.
