Allwater has a current opportunity available within the People Safety & Culture (PS&C) team for a People & Culture Administrator who loves to take charge of the administration associated with providing a high standard of service across the HR function. 

The People & Culture Administrator’s key responsibility is to provide administrative support to the PS&C team by: 

  • Assisting end to end recruitment by being accountable for shortlisting candidates, booking interviews, sending recruitment communications and pre-employment screening tasks such as reference checking, arranging pre-employment medicals and police checks.
  • Assisting the onboarding and internal appointment process by organising/collating required paperwork, following internal processes to ensure systems are updated and internal stakeholders are informed.
  • Maintaining current and accurate records in Database and Employee files.
  • Maintaining/updating HR template documents.
  • Safeguarding the confidential nature of records and work product.
  • Assist in producing monthly and ad hoc HR reports.
  • Assisting with various HR projects as allocated.

This role is critical in ensuring the administrative aspects are managed and the right person will love being organised but able to identify what needs extra attention. 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience to succeed:

  • Experience working as a Human Resources Administrator, with exposure to end to end recruitment (essential) 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources (advantageous) 
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to successfully complete several tasks concurrently to meet deadlines, with high levels of attention to detail
  • HRIS Database management skills & SAP user 
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Visio 
  • Highly capable and competent admin skills developed in busy professional environs
  • Sound written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills 
  • Proactive, with customer service approach and collaborative with people at all levels
