Company Description

We started with a simple idea – to allow companies to replace paper staff records with electronic records in the cloud. Then we got creative. Working alongside industry leaders to develop industry specific HR record keeping solutions and have created a number of specific strategic partnerships and sub-brands.

For HR managers and company owners, a Diffuze solution is more than just software. It is a process whereby their employees and managers can record and monitor staff performance and meet industry standard requirements in record keeping. One of our flagship products is ChildHR (www.childhr.org.au), a solution specific to the Childcare sector. 

Diffuze is currently undergoing a growth stage. We have outgrown outsourcing our marketing and communication  requirements and want to bring it in-house. We urgently need to review and document / electronic file our existing systems and collateral whilst creating a plan that takes into account our proposed direction. Ideally, we are looking for a Communications specialist with a marketing background, who understands what it means to plan, execute and drive awareness of our brand and products.

We operate across Australia, with a small team based in South Yarra. Our Founder is also our CEO, who works in the business to drive sales and partnerships.

Position Overview

This position is a pivotal marketing focused role, whose responsibilities initially is to understand our market place, review existing systems and available collateral, then create and implement a directional marketing plan for where we need to go.

Our expectation is that this person will have a strong understanding backed by experience in  digital, social media and promotional activities activities and platforms.

Overview of key responsibilities

This functional role must support the overall business strategy, and marketing related communications objectives. You will:

  • Overview our existing material and processes ensuring they are correct, suitable placed in our document management system and available for use.
  • Understand our directional objectives and create and work with our CEO to develop Marketing plan to enable their implementation.
  • Assist in the ongoing current marketing & promotional activities in collaboration with Diffuze staff and external resources of the following activities 
    • Develop and create company enewsletters and eDMs
    • Manage and create sales collateral
    • Manage the company websites both layout & copy
    • Management of our Social media platforms

Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated adaptability to deliver marketing communications – for web, enewsletters, and offline collateral
  • Experience in creating Company publications & publishing, eNewsletters, eDMs, 
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress (our Website platform)
  • Working knowledge and experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook etc…)
  • Working knowledge of digital Survey techniques (Survey Monkey)

A marketing background is essential, with experience in working with the HR or technology industry sectors a real bonus - but by no means a mandatory
