About Us:

Broadspectrum is a uniquely diverse business, with valued partnerships across a range of high profile clients who judge us on the quality of service our people deliver; the mantra "people are our greatest asset" is particularly relevant for us and we are committed to being one of the most diverse and inclusive employers to work for. We promote flexible work options, we have a “worklife hub” which encourages a healthy work-life balance, and we sponsor a number of diversity and inclusion programs within our business, including job share and part time roles where possible. We have recently become part of Ferrovial, one of the world’s leading infrastructure operators and municipal services companies, and this had opened up a wealth of opportunities; offering greater exposure to high profile projects, career support in learning and development, coupled with international opportunities to develop your career in a cohesive and team driven environment.

About The Role:

We are looking for an exceptional leader to manage the delivery of existing brownfield construction, operations, and maintenance contracts as well as help lead our business activities in a key growth area; focusing on developing solutions to a newly created team. Broadspectrum and its parent Ferrovial are well regarded for delivering innovate services to customers across many sectors and this is an exciting opportunity to help shape our strategies and approach to oil & gas and mining customers across Australia. Reporting into an Executive General Manager, you will help design solutions and strategies, deliver improvement initiatives, develop relationships, and mobilise our business and key partners to win and support contract opportunities. The role will focus on:

  • Accountability for 3 key contracts and providing operational leadership for new growth opportunities
  • Growing our presence and reputation as well as building superior relationships across the resources sector
  • Designing and delivering innovate service offerings
  • Working collaboratively with peers in the region and across all stakeholders within the business

A key component of the role is the development of our capability in the region, to ensure we have a marketable difference which will assist in the winning of profitable work. This includes nurturing relations with potential customers and partners as well as P&L responsibility for a multi-million portfolio.

About You:

We acknowledge the importance of our people’s diverse experiences, talents and cultures that they bring to work with them each day. Embracing and attracting diversity are key components of our Talent Management Strategy and we welcome your application if you feel you have the ability to contribute to a high performing and dynamic business. In particular, we will be looking for:

  • Experience of working in a 1st tier contractor environment; operating in a sophisticated, matrix environment
  • Proven experience of leading and delivering projects, contracts and initiatives
  • Experience of managing key clients and developing long-term relationships
  • Commercial acumen and demonstrated business development skills
  • A track record of contributing to significant business, people and commercial outcomes

If you have a ‘can do attitude’ and tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, this role can offer a rewarding future and opportunities to further your career as well as giving you great satisfaction from impacting commercial outcomes for a large multinational.
