The Role

Due to the continued growth on our recently awarded long term maintenance contract TRACE JV is seeking to engage an experienced & qualified CCPP Operations Interface Coordinator. The role will see you coordinate interfaces between INPEX controlled power generation packages under the control of the Operations Group, and Contractor controlled power generation packages, throughout various stages of completion. To be successful with your application, you should be able to demonstrate your previous site based experience in an operations environment.

This 12 month fixed term contract will see you based locally in Darwin working Monday – Friday.  

Tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Ensuring activities carried out on the Contractor controlled power station are in line with operational goals and objectives, including delivering assurance of reliable power to the facility.
  • Establishing & Maintaining power management look-ahead plans
  • Liaising with all key stake holders on site
  • Issuing PTW (Permit to work) systems and isolations, including process isolations
  • Daily, Weekly & monthly reporting
  •  Provide leadership & guidance to contractors and internal staff

Skills & Experience

  • Instrumentation/electrical background - Multidisciplinary knowledge preferred
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of planning/scheduling, including experience in writing/updating resourced level 5 schedules and working with GANNT charts
  • Experience in commissioning/operations of power systems preferred
  • Understanding of electrical single line diagrams and isolations essential
  • Sound knowledge of power generation/distribution systems
  • Familiar with PTW (Permit to work) systems and isolations, including process isolations
  • Knowledge of ISSOW Permit to Work system preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership/coordination positions on an LNG facility or similar essential
