We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our large contract based in North Sydney.

 

The Role

Reporting to the National Systems Technology Manager, you will be assisting the Defence Base Services (DBS) Contract in ensuring all DBS Systems and SAP interface transmissions are successful and that failures are identified and resolved in a timely manner to ensure contract obligations are met.  To create and maintain best practise processes to increase efficiency.

 

Key responsibilities includes (not limited to):

  • Interrogate technical issues of the SAP backend interface via SAP AIF error monitoring dashboard.
  • Analyse SAP backend for system, master data and user related issues against solution design.
  • SAP functional SME in Service Asset Maintenance (ASM) and Sales/Billing (SD Module).
  • Support the Level 1 & 2 DBS Support Teams in managing interface transmissions and resolving errors within incoming and outbound message payloads.
  • First point of technical escalation within the support team for further technical analysis of system related issues.
  • Liaise with Broadspectrum IT support both offshore and local in resolving technical issues. 

 

Desirable:

SAP Certification in PM or relevant to the advertised position

 

To be successful in this role you will have an Engineering/ Computer Science degree or Tertiary equivalent along with minimum 3-5 years Functional SAP Asset Services Management (ASM) and minimum 2 SAP Project deployment/implementations. You will have extensive technical knowledge in AIF/PI error monitoring and handling. Also preferred is sound knowledge of SAP UAT and Integration testing including Implementation, Roll out and Post Go live support. In order to excel in this role you will be results focused and have good communication skills.  You must have an ability to work effectively with people from diverse national, cultural, linguistic and religious/spiritual backgrounds and to deal with sensitive issues in a manner that is respectful of people’s individual dignity, cultural values and religious beliefs.
