We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson for our Surat Basin business, this role is on a 15/13 Roster based in our Central Gas Fields


The role of a Mechanical Technician within the Maintenance team is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance tasks

 

  • Minimum 2 years Oil & Gas experience in a similar position.
  • Certificate 3 Mechanical Fitting OR Trade Certification Mechanical Fitting
  • Flange Management
  • Competent reading and interpreting Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (PNIDs)
  • Ability to multi task together with significant hands on experience.    
  • Current drivers licence.
  • Current MR License (preferred)
  • Dogman Ticket (preferred)
  • Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) Ticket (preferred)
  • EWP Ticket (Preferred)
  • Current Construction White Card Certification
  • First Aid Certificate (preferred)
  • Ability to multi task together with significant hands on experience.    
  • Proven Quality Assurance knowledge
  • Proven Maintenance principles experience and application
  • Proven Experience in Permit to Work (PTW) procedures
  • Experience user of IT Systems
  • Good knowledge of HSE systems and procedures
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
  •  

     In return we offer a family friendly roster (15 days on / 13 days off), Camp accommodation and travel to site supplied. This role is a permanent position.


    The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full medical including drug and alcohol screen.
