Job Description


The Company:

BR&I are a national mechanical services entity who work in the Hydrocarbon and Heavy Industrial Sectors around Australia. Due to an internal move, we’re looking to secure a Regional Manager who can support the delivery of maintenance services for prescribed fuels assets in the both WA & NT and further support the company meet its Maintenance Agent responsibilities.

The Role:

This role will see you manage a range of preventative / reactive maintenance, ensuring that these are executed to the client’s satisfaction in both WA and NT.

You’ll provide technical advice on fuel maintenance work activities and develop and implement contract quality, safety and environmental plans including procedures, work instructions, forms and Inspection and Test Plans. You should be prepared to provide key Defence stakeholders updates on KPI’s and performance issues and drive accurate financial control across your regions.

This position will suit someone with a commitment to OHS/HSE policy and compliance, as you will ensure all necessary support is provided and available to meet all statutory regulations.

Key areas include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure completion of 100% Planned Maintenance works at DFI sites within designated region as per DFIMI
  • Regular update of estate data and maintenance plans.
  • Ensure dispensation & management of change requests are raised to the client for approval.
  • Drive a culture of delivering customer and shareholder value
  • 100% Completion of all Planned Maintenance works for DFI Sites within designated region.
  • Managing Alternative Proposal and Long Term Maintenance tasks.
  • Audit works being undertaken to ensure compliance with DFIMI.
  • Regular involvement with monthly OAMA meetings.

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant Degree in Engineering or a related discipline or experience in Hydrocarbons industry.
  • Demonstrated management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

In order to be successful in this role you must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance to the level of Secret.
