We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer working on one of our construction contracts in Western Australia.  This Position is initially site based in Perth metro area, with the possibility that future projects will require living away in regional areas, or travelling to regional areas

This role is responsible for delivering multiple sub-contracts and packages with a strong focus on quality, and in accordance with the Project Specifications and safety and environmental targets of zero harm.  This is a great opportunity to work within a small team and continue your growth in construction, project delivery and contract administration.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Work as part of a team to ensure the ongoing success of the project delivery
  • Present to Client, Site Workforce, Stakeholders and Community in a highly professional manner particularly in written and oral communications and setting high level examples in safety and environmental attitude and actions
  • Coordination of sub-contracts and procurement packages
  • Strong focus on quality, QA/QC, ITP’s, filing, vendor data compilation and record keeping
  • Report and investigate any safety, environmental or quality incidents in accordance with Broadspectrum standard processes

  • Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in similar construction project engineering role – preference is for site experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail, with a disciplined approach to all documentation
  • Exposure to the administration of contracts
  • Exposure to urban infrastructure projects, particularly waste water treatment is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and personnel management skills
  • An understanding of safety, environmental and quality systems
