  • Permanent Part time role (3 days/week) , Location – Sydney or Melbourne
  • Experience in Electrical energy systems is mandatory
  • Work for a large facilities maintenance contract

 

The Role

Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be responsible for delivering innovative projects, our environmental management plan, commitments and regular reporting to achieve our environmental and sustainable objectives. The role includes working closely with the contract team and client to deliver, monitor and improve sustainability performance of the contract as well as to undertake environmental audits and inspections and provide training and support to contracts and business functions as required.

 

Key responsibilities includes (not limited to):

 

  • Understand the environmental deliverables and work with the Contract Manager and team (Including operations and building management systems team) to deliver innovative projects and monthly reporting
  • Develop and manage key relationships with Broadspectrum client’s Environmental team including with regular contract meetings, environmental and sustainability network meetings, and initiatives
  • Develop innovations for either internal or client approval for environmental projects across the nbn sites and implement once approved
  • Provide environmental management training support where required.
  • Assist with undertaking environmental risk reviews for the contract and specific sites and develop action plans for approval and execution
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of environmental management system documentation including EMP’s, registers procedures and templates for the contract
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of environmental objectives and targets including monthly reporting and projects to assist the client to meet’s its key environmental objectives including increased waste diversion and reduction in power consumption

 

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum Cert IV in Environmental Management or Bachelor degree in Environmental or Electrical Related discipline (desired).You will have good understanding of energy efficiency and waste management systems. You will be a proficient user of MS Office.
