The Role

 

In this challenging yet rewarding role you will provide effective coordination, compliance and supervision of all field work conducted in the designated area of responsibility on all Land & Housing contract properties in relation to the contract KPIs of timeliness, planned works delivery, quality, and HSE and call centre targets.

 

Key responsibilities includes (not limited to):

 

  • Ensure compliance with Broadspectrum and contract specific quality assurance and safety programs at the same time promoting a continuous improvement philosophy.
  • Communicate with staff and subcontractors to ensure that they are kept informed of any issues relating to contract performance and compliance.
  • Identification, supervision and day-to-day control of subcontractors, including performance monitoring and recommendations on work allocation.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of Tenant Participation programs, Aboriginal Participation programs and Apprenticeship programs by providing guidance, support, technical advice and reporting.
  • Ensure that work site instructions are followed including Risk Assessments, Job Analysis, Hazard Identification, and In Process Inspections.
  • Ensure all works are being carried out as required by contract specification and appropriate standards/ building codes.
  • Coordinate resources including both manpower and equipment to achieve contract objectives.
  • Coordinate delivery of projects to comply with and achieve the Key Performance Indicators of the contract.
  • Complete the weekly supervisor KPI report and other reports as requested within the required timeframes.

 

Other Requirements

  •   Relevant Trade Qualification
  • This position requires an Australian Federal Police check and a Driver’s License

 

To be successful in this role you must have relevant experience in building inspection, construction site management/inspection or quality inspection in the facilities management industry. You must have strong experience managing subcontractors and trades staff. To be successful in this role you will be a go-getter willing to take on challenges combined with an ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders is essential.
