We have a long and successful partnership with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and we are seeking an experienced Contract Manager based in Katherine, NT.

The primary purpose of the role is will be to ensure the seamless delivery of all base services in line with contract KPIs and objectives. You will be responsible for stakeholder management and negotiations, together with the financial performance of the contract for the base. Your ability to be a team player, good commercial acumen and excellent communication skills will be paramount as they will be the key to your success.

Key internal customers for the role are the line supervisors and managers who have operations in your jurisdiction and whose potentially conflicting requirements need to be satisfied. Hence the ability to provide leadership and work effectively in a matrix structure is critical. You will also be liaising with key client stakeholders within the defence base.

  • Well-developed computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
  • An ability to deal with ambiguity and provide clarity and focus to others.
