Here’s where you come in…

To support the growth of AustralianSuper, we are seeking a National Manager, Adviser Distribution who will be responsible for increasing the number of members joining the Fund, and those under advice, through an external adviser network. Reporting to the Head of Advice & Education this strategic and hands-on role represents an outstanding opportunity to develop the Fund’s approach to achieving adviser distribution growth, while managing the national Adviser Distribution team.

In this role you will lead the strategy for the expansion of the Fund’s external adviser network, building and managing a pipeline of new growth opportunities with advisers and dealer groups. As well as overseeing the team, this role will also see you manage your own adviser panel, developing and implementing best practice growth initiatives in line with governance and compliance requirements.

This high profile role will deliver regular and timely reporting up to Board level stakeholders, as well as regularly presenting to advisers and relevant industry forums.

You’ll need…

Proven experience in leading and delivering growth targets via adviser channels, at a manager and sole contributor level.

A well rounded people leader, you have exceptional sales strategy development and business planning skills, in addition to extensive experience in driving outstanding commercial results. You enjoy building effective stakeholder relationships as well as negotiating and influencing to achieve desired outcomes.

Tertiary qualified in a business or related field, you have a Diploma of Financial Planning in Management and Superannuation, RG146 accreditation and well developed presentation skills.
