Job Description

Broadspectrum has a long and successful partnership with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and is now expanding due to the renewal and extension of the Base Services contract to manage ADF facilities under the new contract on a national level.

The Role 

Reporting to the Regional Manager you will ensure that all elements of the Defence Stores at the allocated geographical bases are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and appropriate Defence & Broadspectrum Policy.

 

Key responsibilities includes (not limited to):

  • Ensure contract obligations are met with respect to service delivery IAW Statement of Works, procedures and instructions, and Broadspectrum procedures and instructions.
  • Provide guidance to subordinates on correct procedures in relation to Defence Stores IAW Defence and Broadspectrum Policy, procedure instructions and doctrine.
  • Ensure staff are fully conversant with Defence doctrine such as the Electronic Supply Chain Manual, (ESCM) and individual service documents.
  • Identify and recommend training of Stores personnel with respect to the requirements of the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS)
  • Supervision of Stores staff and/or wing stores staff
  • Ongoing maintenance and the writing of work manuals, policies, procedures, instructions and checklists and ensure staff are conversant with those procedures, including quality assurance requirements.
  • Complete Defence Business Process Monitoring and take responsibility for any remedial action plans put in place as a result of the monitoring.
  • Receipt, maintenance, storage and issue of stores.
  • Supply Customer Account Management

 

To be successful in this role you must have experience in management of Stores and Warehousing and/or relevant operations across a diverse client and/or geographical base.  Sound knowledge of the Military Integrated Logistics Information System, (MILIS) and the Electronic Supply Chain Manual, (ESCM) preferred. Alternately a solid experience in a high reliability chain of custody stores/warehousing environment required.

Experience in performance management and reporting will be advantageous .Preferably you will have certificate 3 in Transport and distribution (Warehousing). You will have good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and excellent communication skills and a valid driver’s license.
