The Role

Broadspectrum are currently looking to engage a Project Coordinator (Support Services) starting on an initial 3month fixed term contract. This role will see you utilise your previous experience to ensure that consistent and timely advice is provided operationally, to key stakeholders along with internal and external contractors and management of estate maintenance items delivered by any project on the Defence Estate. The role will also play a part in any transition or handover of new facilities to Defence. This role will see you based at RAAF base Pearce, in Bullsbrook working Monday to Friday.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be confident in managing expectations across with all level of personnel, stakeholders and internal management. Thorough written and verbal communication is vital along with:

  • Supporting site visits and inspections being conducted by project teams by connecting the project with the correct Defence or EMOS Stakeholder or Access Service.
  • Provide information to the project about Defence Process & Policy, information from Defence or EMOS information systems and Base contacts.
  • Facilitate communications to the design team as the EMOS representative on the current condition, capacity of the Estate & equipment.
  • Provide advice on any maintenance or operational impacts the design needs to address.
  • Attend project operational meetings as the EMOS representative and facilitate any EMOS or MSP services required.
  • Validate project delivered information to ensure suitability and completeness for managing the estate. Includes Estate Data Updates, Commissioning Information and Drawings etc.

Core Skills & Experience

  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills   
  • Ability to manage and influence Key Stakeholders
  • Be able to read & interpret technical information such as drawings, CAD, construction drawings etc. Commissioning information, ITP’s.
  • Must be advanced user of Microsoft suite.
  • Previous Defence experience highly regarded but not essential.
