About the role:
Our casual trade teachers provide high quality and innovative course materials and excellent teaching delivery to students to support student success in the courses and thereby improve their employment and/or educational pathways as well as ensure BHI Group compliance requirements are met.
The position reports to the Manager of the respective trade and is responsible for liaising with students, relevant industry groups, community services providers, overseas partners and employees of the BHI Group at all levels.
You will teach and assess your relevant trade course and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies, including the development of blended learning within a range of contemporary TAFE settings. All work conducted must in accordance with industry and AQTF standards and Institute policies and procedures. If you don’t hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment we can help you to obtain it.
Your skills and experience:
• Passionate about mentoring students and sharing industry knowledge
• Relevant vocational qualification
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE41110) preferred but not required upon application
