The Role

We currently have an excellent Fixed Term opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner, to cover a broad scope of Government and Resources contracts working from our offices in Adelaide Terrace, Perth. We will consider both Full & Part time applicants as we have flexible working options.

The main function of this role is to provide a Human Resources consultancy service working in partnership with the General Manager HR and other HR and Employee Relations representatives, managers, employees and other stakeholders. Your extensive IR/ER experience will also be highly regarded.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate the resolution of HR and ER issues and coaching of line management to enable skills and knowledge transfer.
  • Support managers to optimise their operations and improve productivity by developing and delivering business focussed HR plans and strategies.
  • Support managers with negotiations of Enterprise Agreements.
  • Provide advice on HR/ER policies and procedures and support managers to effectively implement them within the business.
  • Comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy and ethical standards.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • Extensive experience working with a Blue-Collar workforce
  • Relevant experience in resolving human resources management workplace issues.
  • Ability to read, interpret & negotiate Enterprise Agreements.
  • Experience dealing with Fair Work disputes.
  • Well-developed conceptual and analytical ability.
  • A degree level qualification in a human resources management, business or related discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at varying levels
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting and complex situations.
