About the role
Broadspectrum is currently undergoing a major transformation within its procurement organisation.  We are building a team focused on delivering value to the business through effective Category Management.  Due to the dynamic nature of our business the team will comprise a blend of contract and permanent staff.  This has created a requirement for an Analyst to join the team on a 12 month contact or permanent basis.

 

The Category Analyst will support the Procurement Portfolio Managers and Category Specialists in developing category strategies through thorough internal and market analytics. They will also work with key business stakeholders in the delivery of their business strategy and the achievement of their operational goals through the delivery of effective procurement analytics.
 

Who you are:

  • Strong knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Should Cost modelling
  • Benchmarking skills - market and competitor analysis
  • Ability to convert data to information to identify and recommend opportunities
  • Basic knowledge of Category Management, Contract Management and SRM
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills correlated with superior writing and presentation skills
  • Results driven with a high level of business and commercial acumen
  • Administratively self-sufficient, including experience in using an SAP ERP and eProcurement systems with advanced skills in Microsoft office software.

 

You will have technical skills:

  • Microsoft suite
  • ERP, eProcurement
  • Advanced skills in Excel (Essential)
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in PowerPoint (Essential)
