To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking a Quality Advice Assurance Manager who will be responsible for assurance and monitoring activities associated with the quality of financial advice being delivered to our members. Reporting to the National Manager Advice Enablement, this role represents an outstanding opportunity to ensure advice is provided in accordance with compliance frameworks and practices which meet all legislative and regulatory obligations, professional standards and business rules.
In this role, you will conduct reviews for accredited licensees to gain assurance they are complying with their Financial Services Agreement, that their activities remain consistent and that key risks are identified and managed. You will conduct adviser review activities, such as file reviews, member interviews and observations, using agreed frameworks to ensure independent and consistent outcomes.
You will report your findings, identifying improvement opportunities and appropriate remediation activities if applicable. You will make recommendations to the leadership group in terms of training requirements, assisting with or facilitating sessions as required.
Key to your success in this role will be your relevant industry qualifications, including a Diploma of Financial Planning, plus previous experience in financial planning compliance, governance and/or audit. You have a thorough understanding of how financial planning businesses are run, and how to apply best practice compliance principles. You make clear decisions which may involve difficult choices or considered risks.
You build excellent stakeholder relationships, communicate effectively and maintain a high degree of attention to detail. You have experience with challenging conversations and you provide feedback in a constructive, timely manner.
