The Role

Due to continued growth, Trace JV are currently looking to engage an experienced project Document Controller. This 15-month fixed term role will see you based in Darwin working Monday to Friday.

The Document Controller as part of the Project Team under the direction of the Project Manager, plans, controls, and directs the full scope of records management and administrative activities for the project

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Register, control, distribute, transmit, file and archive project records in line with both Trace JV & Inpex requirements.
  • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date internal Document Management system
  • Responsible for the record document flow to and from all necessary parties
  • Process a high volume of construction, supplier, and/or documentation
  • Support quality assurance audits, internal technical reviews & client reviews.
  • Prepare routine documents using standard word processing, spreadsheets, or other office software as needed to support work activities
  • Develop and implement procedures and deliver to team members as appropriate
  • Perform / assist with other general administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Document Control position
  • Proven history contributing to a team effort in project environments
  • Knowledge of current Document Management standards
  • Experience with SAP would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Whilst not essential, LNG maintenance operations experience will be highly regarded.
