Here’s where you come in…

To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking a Security Architect that will be aligning security policies, standards and frameworks with AustralianSuper’s overall business strategy, technology strategy and project portfolio. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of the enterprise-class security architecture and the development & advocacy of security best practices across the business, to meet member and regulatory requirements. Where needed, you will be required to conduct third party security assessments and design security solutions to mitigate security threats as they emerge.  In this role, some major areas of security considerations include a global digital business, cloud computing, data loss prevention and identity and access management (IAM).



You’ll need…

With extensive experience in a Security architecture role, you will have detailed knowledge of security tools, penetration testing techniques and IT risk governance within a financial services or highly complex industry.. In previous roles, you would have designed and/or provided consulting related to securing customer facing digital applications such as API’s and web based technologies. CISSP certified, you have strong knowledge of security patterns and integration approaches related to identity management, federation or multi-factor authentication.



To succeed in the role, you will have strong understanding of network boundary protection technologies and protocols such as Firewalls, DDOS Protection, CDN Security, DLP, WAF, IPS and network access control & protection.



Finally, you possess strong leadership, project and team-building skills, including the ability to lead teams and drive projects and initiatives in different areas of the business.
