You will be a responsible role model who is committed to developing and supervising high-performance teams, helping keep people and communities safe, and assisting Inmates to rehabilitate and avoid reoffending.

About the Role
As a Correctional Supervisor you will respond to events and incidents appropriately in a dynamic environment, exercise good judgment, use interpersonal skills to influence behaviour and manage conflict, and show resilience in the face of challenges.
You will act with integrity, respect and humanity in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
This is an Indigenous- identified position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent (pursuant to Section 14 (d) of the Anti-discrimination act.
We recognise that people are our greatest asset and we are committed to being one of the best employers to work for. As result we seek to employ people who will succeed in this role and you will have:
•A Cert III in Correctional Practice
•Previous experience as a Correctional Officer
•Basic computer skills or an ability to learn
•A reasonable level of fitness to undertake the job which will include a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol test
•The ability to obtain and maintain an AFP check
Overall your ability to remain calm in high pressure situations, demonstrate restraint and a positive mindset are the key attributes we are looking for.
