The Role:

Broadspectrum are currently looking to engage a Regional Project Support Services Manager, this role will be responsible for the delivery of all contractual requirements associated with Broadspectrums project support services agreement with Defence. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that operational outcomes are achieved and that all projects on Defence Estate are executed and delivered successfully. This full time ongoing role will see you working Monday to Friday predominantly located at Leeuwin Barracks in Fremantle with sporadic travel to other Metro bases.         

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the delivery of Regional PSS aspects that meet the assurance of Defence.
  • Management of small technical project team.
  • Communicate & Manage change within project space.
  • Manage the measurement & monitoring of internal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Tracking & reporting on progress of all Defence projects.
  • Assist with asset handover and ensure assets are captured correctly for ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage Subcontractors and report on their performance.
  • Identify & build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage corrective actions & compliant grievances to ensure continuous improvement.   

Skills & Experience                            

  • Tertiary Qualification and/or significant experience in Project Management, engineering or Asset Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate outcomes and manage expectations with various stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a flexibly & adaptatively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a small team.
  • Be confident in interacting with technical staff, subcontractors, Senior Military officers & client representatives             

In order to be successful in this role you must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance to the level of Secret.
