The Role

The purpose of this role is to help protect IAG's digital and information assets by ensuring continued operation of assessment solutions as well as validation of required cyber controls through security certification/assessment. It's a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about developing their career in cyber security and will suit someone who loves learning new things and keeping abreast of industry regulatory changes.

The key challenge for the pivotal role will be the implementation of Cyber Assurance Frameworks and collaborating with diverse individuals and teams across IAG, assisting them to comply with IAG security requirements. A major sophisticated cyber-attack against IAG could have a catastrophic impact on the business, and this team is one of the main lines of defense against such an attack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure solutions utilised by the assessment team remain operational through vendor engagement and by following up on tickets when issues occur
  • Automating of assessment services to assist in increasing coverage
  • Update and maintain assessment dashboards and assist the Cyber Security Assessment team to develop and implement regular reports that showcase how Assurance positively affects the overall risk profile
  • Identify practical improvements to processes that would improve agility and allow greater utilisation of self-service capabilities

Skills & Experience

  • Thorough understanding of Cloud and other Security Standards / Frameworks e.g. CSA CCM, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS
  • Exposure to and familiarity with ticketing solutions e.g. ServiceNow, Jira etc.
  • Application development exposure in one or more of the following: SQL, PHP, Python, Rails, HTML, JavaScript, PowerShell
  • Advanced Excel skills including Excel programming and data modelling
  • Experience developing reports in tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field related to the role
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A minimum of two years' experience working in corporate environments
