The Role

As a Geospatial Developer you would be responsible for enhancing the Location Engineering capability within IAG by developing location-based applications and services to facilitate better decision making. This position sits in Location Engineering team of Customer Labs Data.

This opportunity will allow you to develop your capabilities and skills so that they can be utilised more broadly within Customer Labs and IAG.

  • Maintain and Develop Spatial Applications
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain and Develop Spatial Services
  • Data Maintenance

Skills & Experience

  • Front end spatial web development using JavaScript (leaflet, openlayers, angular, react)
  • Experience in Geospatial Analysis
  • Proven experience working with Geographic Information Systems (QGIS, ESRI, MapInfo)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in SQL (postgres) and Python Scripting
  • Good stakeholder engagement skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer/IT Engineering, Business Analysis, Analytics/Data Science, GIS or Geography or related field would be highly regarded
