Job Description

About Us:

Broadspectrum is a uniquely diverse business, with valued partnerships across a range of high profile clients who judge us on our innovative asset management solutions and the quality of service we deliver. We are committed to being one of the most diverse and inclusive employers: we promote flexible work options; a healthy work-life balance; and we sponsor a number of diversity and inclusion programs within our business. As part of the global Ferrovial group, one of the world’s leading infrastructure operators and municipal services companies, we offer our people exposure to high profile projects, career support in learning and development, coupled with international opportunities to develop your executive career in a cohesive and team driven environment.

Duties:

Broadspectrum’s track record of delivering contracting services into the Government sector is second to none and this is an exciting “entry opportunity” to join the business at a senior level, where you will have exposure to our leaders and be able to influence and deliver an education growth strategy with a focus on sustainability solutions. In order to deliver growth and unlock potential within the education portfolio, the role has two key elements:

  • The ability to grow a business; this will be the outcome of superior customer relationship and influencing skills, as well as the ability to leverage an excellent network of contacts from within the education sector, in particular universities;
  • A commercial mindset; this will be reflected in the ability to develop strategies which are innovative, creative and offer solutions which are profitable and deliver sustainable margins.

Skills & Experience:

We acknowledge the importance of our people’s diverse experiences, talents and cultures that they bring to work with them each day. Embracing and attracting diversity are key components of our Talent Management Strategy and we welcome interest from people who can contribute to a high performing and dynamic business. In particular, we are looking for someone who excels in relationship management and we are open to where this experience has been gained; for example in a BD role or account management (from either the contractor or customer side) or even running procurement or supply chain functions. Most important is an existing network in the education sector (specifically universities).

Culture:

Our people chose to align themselves with us because of the breadth of services we offer and therefore the diverse career opportunities that our people can access. We promote a collaborative culture which is underpinned by constructive behaviours.

How to apply:

We commit to responding to applications within two weeks and, as part of our hiring process we will complete interviews, testing, and assessments, all of which can take several weeks. If you are interested in discussing this further then please apply by following the prompts.
