About the Team

The Administration Officer is part of the Finance & Business Services team. Finance & Business Services enables Teach for Australia to meet organisational goals by providing effective business processes and systems and ensuring the business has the financial and administrative information required to make sound and timely decisions.

About the Position

The purpose of the Office Administrator is to ensure that the general operations of Teach For Australia run smoothly, by effectively managing all office related services and supplies, maintaining key office reference documentation and systems, and being the first point of contact for all mainline incoming calls and visitors to the office by providing reception duties. The role also manages TFA’s travel tool (Egencia) and undertakes the Accounts Payable function for the organisation. Where required, administrative support to Finance and other business functions is provided, including for TFA program activities.

  • Experience in a similar role (preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Proactive, and able to work autonomously
  • Highly organised and able to manage a busy and varied portfolio
  • Able to build effective relationships, both internally and externally, to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Takes pride in your work and is passionate about supporting a diverse team
