Here’s where you come in…

To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking a Dealer who will be part of the team responsible for managing the centralised dealing and execution function. Reporting to the Manager, Dealing this role is responsible for monitoring the efficiency of execution counterparties and managing these relationships to benefit AustralianSuper’s members.

In this role, you will execute and implement strategies across equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and derivatives. You will provide implementation advice and analysis to support investment decisions, monitor and provide market intelligence to the investment teams regarding changing market conditions.

You will also assist in the design, implementation and testing of new trading platforms and proactively monitor and manage trading activities to minimize implementation costs for the fund.

You will also ensure all trading is conducted within the laws/regulations of each country and/or exchange.

You’ll need…

To be degree qualified and experienced in at least one asset class in institutional size– Equities, Fixed Income or Foreign Exchange as well as experience in Trade Execution (large portfolio and large single security) using algorithms, dark pools, block crossings. You will have experience in capital markets, including IPO’s, placements and block trades.

Multi Asset class experience would be viewed favourably, as will experience with OTC derivatives, in particular equity total return swaps, credit default swaps and/ or cross-currency basis swaps.
