Broadspectrum in partnership with Gippsland Water are seeking a Work Coordinator to join the Maintenance team to be based in Gippsland, VIC. Reporting to the Contract Manager the Works Coordinator will manage a team of Trades Personnel with a focus on working closely with the client and contract staff to develop maintenance strategies based on existing, future and theoretical maintenance

Other responsibilities include:

  • Supervise staff (including field staff)
  • Carries out performance appraisals
  • Take any applicable action that ensures all employees (including Subcontractor resources where applicable) fully understand and comply with their obligations safety legislation and company guidelines
  • Actively participate in HSEQ lead activities and investigations, and implement corrective actions as identified
  • Plan and execute works to an agreed program
  • Preparation of required documentation / reports for client
  • Purchasing of services, materials and equipment within budget, operational and HSEQ requirements
  • Actively participate in development and implementation of KPIs on a monthly and annual basis
  • Review of condition rating data and maintenance history against assets to evaluate effectiveness of current maintenance strategies
  • Review / develop and maintain maintenance safe operating procedures in line with maintenance plan, asset attribute data and current best practices

Skills and experience required:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and meet deadlines
  • Have an understanding asset management strategies and their implementation
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in a Management role
