Broadspectrum in partnership with Gippsland Water are seeking an innovative and creative Project Engineer to join a forward thinking, high performing team based in Gippsland, VIC. Reporting to the Contract Manager the Project Engineer will focus on providing project engineering solutions for the Gippsland Water Electrical & Mechanical Services Contract.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of tender approvals and submissions;
  • Site documentation management e.g. work pack, Management Plans etc;
  • Develop management systems and procedures;
  • Preparation and submission of variations / claims and tracking of approval status;
  • Preparation of management plans at all project phases
  • Maintenance of drawing documentation and files;
  • Client reporting, including collation of relevant information; Internal progress reporting;
  • Financial reporting including cost monitoring;
  • Develop work packs required for contract execution.
  • Provide technical support to Coordinators and others as required

Skills and experience required:

  • A degree or other relevant qualification in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong Information Systems skills, & Computer literacy
  • An understanding of and commitment to the safety, environmental and quality systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Excellent personnel management skills, including the ability to motivate others
