Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager the objective of the position is to provide business partnering to the Contract Manager(s), and proactively lead and manage the Contract Finance & Administration team(s) to meet finance-based service delivery requirements for the Contract(s) and Group Finance.

 

Key Experiences & Skills

  • The appointee will have appropriate relevant tertiary qualifications in business, finance, commerce or accounting and also possess management experience gained within a commercial and operational business environment.
  • Membership of a professional Accounting body (e.g. CPA, CA) is desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated analytical and financial experience in project(s) accounting.
  • Proven experience in leading teams which may be geographically dispersed and inspiring high levels of employee engagement (more than 2 years of team management experience).
  • Proven delivery and innovation of the Finance function to drive Contract performance and results, including effective project, risk and time management skills incorporating work activity planning, prioritization, and risk awareness/identification/resolution.
  • Demonstrated process understanding of the core F&A processes and track record in financial analysis and reporting which provides meaningful insights into business performance.
  • Solid, detailed knowledge and experience in SAP is desirable.
  • Demonstrated communication, engagement and influencing capability working directly with multiple finance/ operational managers and support function representatives.
  • Demonstrated written communication and system skills.

 

Special conditions

Must be eligible to work in Australia or New Zealand (citizenship or visa sponsorship).

To be worked on in a full or part-time capacity.

Does not have to be performed fully in one location.

It should be noted that the appointee is expected to take on other duties as may be directed by the Manager from time to time.
