To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking a Technology Platform Specialist who will be responsible for developing, building and supporting the hybrid cloud platforms as a subject matter expert to ensure excellent sustained management and operation of the technology platforms. Reporting to the Manager Technology Platforms the initial focus of this role will be to lead the development and deployment of a Hybrid Cloud environment with the funds integration partners.
In this role the development of a hybrid cloud environment will include building and configuring a solution that is operationally stable, easily supportable and integrates with existing on premise management systems. You will develop and implement an operational model that includes; capacity management, systems monitoring, reporting and alerting, product licences and lifecycle management as well as platform architectures, blueprints/patterns and is synchronised with the appropriate SLAs. You will champion the upgrades and continuous improvements by testing, implementing, monitoring and tuning the platform to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issues. You will conduct acceptance tests and commissioning of platform and infrastructure services, systems and equipment, research and recommend future technologies that will help achieve improvement in AustralianSuper’s risk profile, operational efficiencies or other strategic imperatives. You will ensure that clear platform architectures, blueprints/patterns, standards, service definitions and schedules exist, and are actively managed, maintained and up to date for all technology platforms as well as ensuring that appropriate Business Impact Assessments (BIA) have been established in liaison with Group Risk and are maintained regularly for the platform.
Relevant tertiary qualifications as well as at least one Azure certification and have completed an ITIL foundation-level certification. You will have strong experience as a SME in one or more of the following technologies: Office 365, Core platform, Data platform, Website or Identity and Authentication. You will be experienced with Public Cloud Services and have significant knowledge and use of PowerShell and other automation languages. You’ll have a deep understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management. You will also be experienced with build and release, mobile device and configuration management tools. You’ll be a strong communicator with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in business terms.
